Aims and Scope

"Shinakht" is a Persian (Farsi) word which means "Knowledge". In Persian literature, "Shinakht" represents several concepts, including knowledge, insight, and recognition, which are often metaphorically considered the cornerstone and initiation of Philosophy. "Shinakht" journal is devoted to the fields of Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, Iranian philosophy, Ontology, Epistemology, Contemporary Philosophy, Phenomenology, Philosophy of art, Aesthetics, Islamic Philosophy, Mulla Sadra philosophy, Iranian philosophy, Averroism, Avicennism, Illuminationism, mystical philosophy, scholastic Islamic theology, and transcendent theosophy.

"Shinakht" journal pursues two main goals: spreading methodologically well-formed new ideas in philosophy and providing suitable ground for criticism. It is dedicated to freedom of thought, multiplicity of attitudes and professionalism. As universities and research centers are recognized loci for renovation, we invite all researchers to assist us in this endeavor by authoring and /or reviewing valuable works. Contributors are required, in papers they submit for publication in the journal, to observe scientific standards, originality as well as the recognized principles of writing in Persian & similar observation in English Abstracts preparations. "Shinakht" Journal covers all studies related to Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy & the Heritage of the East and, particularly, the Iranian intellectual heritage. It accepts submissions by all experts in the following areas. The journal scope includes but are not restricted to, the following areas:
