Shenakht is a quarterly, peer-reviewed scientific journal affiliated with the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences at Shahid Beheshti University. It published its first issue in 2009 under License No. 3/11/57 (dated 25 April 2009).

The journal is dedicated to advancing research in philosophy and strengthening the foundations of philosophical studies. Recognizing innovation as a central feature of philosophical inquiry, Shenakht places special emphasis on originality and creativity in its evaluation of submissions. One of its primary goals is to encourage the posing of new problems and the reinterpretation of key philosophical questions across all areas of the discipline.

Shenakht also welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that connect philosophy with other fields, including literature, aesthetics, and related domains.
