Peer-Review Policy: Double Blind Peer Review; at least two reviewers

The review process is a crucial part of the article publication process. It assists editors in making decisions about articles and allows authors to refine their manuscripts. All research paper submissions to the Journal of Shinakht undergo a double-blind review by experts in the field of philosophy to further enhance the quality of research.

The identity of the author(s) is removed from the manuscript and kept hidden from the reviewers during the review process. The reviewer receives only the manuscript, devoid of any information that might enable him/her to uncover the identity of the author(s). Information removed includes the author(s)’ name, address/affiliation, country, phone/fax, and email. Any information in the Acknowledgement and Declaration of Conflict of Interest that may lead to the uncovering of the identity of the author is also removed from the manuscript prior to sending it to reviewers.

Manuscripts are assigned to members of the journal's editorial board or to other qualified reviewers. The review process is conducted using the Manuscript Management System. Reviewers make one of the following recommendations:

• Accept Unconditionally: Accept, with or without editorial revisions.
• Accept Conditionally: Invite the authors to revise their manuscript to address specific concerns before a final decision is made.
• Reject in Current Form: Reject, but indicate to the authors that further work might justify resubmission.
• Reject Outright: Reject outright, typically due to specialist interest, lack of novelty, insufficient conceptual advance, or major technical and/or interpretational problems.

A Review Certificate is issued to reviewers after the review of the manuscript.
