An analytical research on Penelope Maddy's thiught foundations about philosophy of mathematics

Penelope Maddy is one of the most prominent contemporary thinkers in philosophy of science. She has followed Naturalized philosophy of mathematics and emphasizes on the necessity to reject those philosophical activities which are not compatible with mathematical findings. Special position of mathematics in Quine's Holism context as a hard core in Lakatos interpretation, the necessity of the application of mathematics in Sciences, and also Quine's Naturalistic approach towards the convergence of science and philosophy have helped Maddy to offer a particular interpretation of Platonism in mathematics. Wittgensteinian anti-philosophey has profound effect on consolidating the position of applied mathematics in Maddy's thought. In Maddy's naturalized context, Wittgensteinian anti-philosopher is responsible for omitting Prose, which is incorrect philosophical theorizing, from mathematics. This paper tries to explain various aspects of Maddy's efforts in dealing with the philosophy of mathematics with a naturalized stance and to portray various aspects of science and philosophy convergence with a focus on mathematics.
